Jeffrey L. Nogee

Jeffrey L. Nogee, Of Counsel to Goidel Law Group, concentrates in the areas of estate litigation and probate in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the five boroughs of New York City.   As a partner of Borah Goldstein Altschuler Nahins & Goidel, P.C. (, Jeffrey divides his time between estate matters, real estate transactions and civil litigation matters.  Jeffrey is credited with a number of reported Surrogate’s Court decisions, including Matter of Su Ling Chin (September 25, 2015) where he successfully represented the proponent of a Will which was being contested.  In that case, even though the attorney-draftsperson did not have perfect memory of the execution ceremony, the Court held that such was not required and that the Court could determine the credibility of the individuals testifying at trial.  In the decision of Estate of Lucille Kowalski (August 11, 2014), Jeffrey successfully petitioned the Surrogate’s Court to force the transfer of a deed of a specific bequest of real property to a beneficiary despite the executor’s claims that the property was part of the estate and that proceeds of sale were needed to pay estate expenses.
