The Initial Experience

Upon calling our office, you will speak with a smiling team member, ready and able to listen to your concerns who will ask the questions required to determine the type of appointment you need.  If you are experiencing a crisis, we will endeavor to accommodate you as quickly and expeditiously as possible. This may mean an immediate phone conference before scheduling a meeting with Wendy K. Goidel, Esq. and Melanie Dunbar, LMSW.  All meetings are scheduled as soon as possible according to the urgency of the situation.

Upon entering our office, you will be greeted by one of our warm, inviting team members who will immediately escort you into a conference room.  Within a matter of seconds, We will join you and start building a relationship which we hope will continue and deepen for years

to come.  One of our immediate goals is to diffuse any stress, anxiety and tension you may be feeling about your planning or the care needs of your loved ones.  All conversations are confidential and you are free to express your emotions and frustrations.  We want you to feel as comfortable as possible discussing two of the most difficult topics – disability and death – in the human vernacular.

If you are planning proactively — in advance of a care crisis – we commend you.  Our ultimate goal is to create a customized estate plan which protects you, your loved ones and your assets.

However, if you are planning in crisis — because you or a loved one is experiencing critical health issues or care needs -- we will comfort you.  We are understanding and empathetic.  Our ultimate goal is to create a safe and effective care plan and seamlessly integrate it with sound legal strategies, and effective financial planning.

There is no initial consultation fee.  This is because the individuals and families we help are referred to us by trusted advisors, senior industry professionals and satisfied clients.  There is absolutely no cost to you to obtain the information and education required to make the right decisions for you and your family. In fact, we don’t even talk about fees until the end of the initial consultation.  Before the end of the meeting, which generally lasts about two hours, you will know exactly how much it will cost you to implement the right planning for yourself or your loved one.  And no worries, as there are no strings attached.  If for any reason you are not ready to proceed, or don’t feel we are the right fit, we are confident that you will leave the meeting armed with more information and relieved with less stress.

"We were very comfortable at the initial meeting. You answered questions and gave a thorough explanation. We were

not rushed at the meeting. You are patient with clients in order for them to understand. We were extremely satisfied."
