Wendy K. Goidel, Esq. is the founding and managing member of Goidel Law Group PLLC and its Estate Planning & Elder Law Center.  She is also the founder and co-developer of Concierge Care Coordination®, a holistic practice model.  For the past 18 years, Wendy has concentrated in the areas of elder law, estate and long-term care planning, estate and trust administration, special needs planning and guardianships.  For a decade before that, she was a civil litigator.  While two of Wendy’s goals are to keep her clients out of court and facilitate family harmony, she can be an effective advocate and negotiator when needed.  Wendy is also affiliated with Borah Goldstein Altschuler Nahins & Goidel, P.C. (www.borahgoldstein.com), a full service real estate law firm in New York City.

Wendy is extremely passionate about her practice and clients.  Clients and advisors consistently describe her as an educator and problem solver who listens before educating clients on topics of concern to them.  She is also an out-of-the-box thinker who innovates and implements new programs and services designed to improve the quality of life for her clients and their family members.

Wendy strives to provide services in a compassionate, caring and professional manner while respecting the dignity, and promoting the independence of, individuals experiencing critical care needs.  Recognizing that conversations about disability and death are quite difficult and emotional, Wendy is committed to diffusing tension and eliminating stress and frustration.  She earns her clients’ respect and confidence and creates lasting relationships with them and their family members so that their planning will work for them through all phases of their lives.

Wendy frequently speaks on elder law and estate planning topics for community organizations and support groups and has participated as an author and lecturer for continuing education programs.  She is also sought after as a guest presenter for many wealth management advisors.

Wendy gives back to the community and serves on the board of directors of Make-A-Wish, Suffolk County, NY.
