GOIDEL LAW GROUP
ESTATE PLANNING & ELDER LAW CENTER
GOOD WILL. GREAT TRUST.®
This can take on many meanings. At the Goidel Law Group, estate planning and elder law is not just about legal documents. It’s about establishing a relationship that ideally begins when you're relatively young and healthy and develops and deepens throughout your life. While it is our hope that you will always remain physically and cognitively healthy, you need to feel confident that your wishes will be followed during times of incapacity and that your instructions and values will be followed when you’re gone. We truly listen to your concerns, care about your needs and are committed to finding solutions to alleviate stress. As your health, family and the laws will ultimately change, we can monitor and update your plan to ensure that it will be effective when needed.
You can put your family’s trust in us, as we understand the intricacies and nuances of the ever-changing legal and health care landscapes. Our collaborative, coordinated approach to planning has set the gold standard for the practice of elder law and estate planning. Concierge Care Coordination®, our flagship process, is a holistic practice model which seamlessly integrates care needs with legal planning.
Aging may not be easy, but it is inevitable. Our goal is to help you plan for and embrace it. We are here to help you navigate the process as gracefully, independently and successfully as possible.
We offer confidential consultations in all practice areas free of charge. There is no cost to get to know us, become educated, and obtain the right options for your planning.
Our main office is centrally located in Melville, New York. We also have two satellite offices in Forest Hills and Manhattan. We can also accommodate clients by meeting at their residence, hospital, assisted living community, or nursing home.
Our legal and social work team works together to integrate clients’ health and care needs with appropriate legal strategies. We also work collaboratively with financial, insurance, and tax advisors to ensure that all options and strategies are addressed.
Because we understand that conversations about disability and death are fraught with emotion, we assist our clients with the highest levels of compassion and empathy.
HOW WE'RE UNIQUE
At the Goidel Law Group, we are dedicated to providing the best possible service and attention to you and your family. We recognize that estate planning and elder law involve difficult issues and discussions regarding disability and death. The planning is sometimes undertaken for the first time when a family member is in crisis. Thus, we strive to eliminate stress and make the process as easy and seamless as possible for you and your loved ones.
Our approach to planning is state of the art, and we believe that planning for potential incapacity is more important than just planning to pass assets at death. In implementing our cutting edge processes, we fully engage you, your family members and other professional advisors (including accountants, financial advisors, insurance professionals, geriatric care managers and social workers). By working together, you receive the best possible service and advice from a dedicated team of individuals with a common purpose — designing and implementing a plan around your stated goals and objectives.
