It's That Time of the Year: Expressions of Gratitude and Hope

In just one week, this country lost several significant nonagenarians and a centenarian who were pioneers, blazing trails for ensuing generations. Most of us will never achieve such status or national prominence. But we can all strive to affect positive change in our family or community. This is precisely what we are doing at Goidel Law Group through the creation of academic and non-profit programs designed to address the crisis in geriatric care in New York State. We are in the second year of the Goidel Gerontological Fellowship Program at Adelphi University and the inaugural year of the Goidel Law Group Internship Fund at Syracuse University’s Falk School of Social Work. Both programs are incentivizing graduate level social work students to embrace gerontology and work collaboratively and holistically with other disciplines. I am grateful that both universities have embraced my vision and welcomed my partnership. There is more in the development stages, so please stay tuned for updates and announcements in 2024.

I greatly appreciate my clients and their family members who entrust us with their most pressing needs and sensitive issues. Many are referred to us during the most critical times in their lives. We respect each of you and are honored to be chosen to join your support system. Never hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. Indeed, you are all part of the Goidel Law Group family.

Thank you to the professionals and advisors who entrust us with their clients.  We greatly appreciate your faith in us and enjoy collaborating and partnering with you to provide the highest level of strategies and solutions.

I must recognize and laud the other members of the Goidel Law Group team, namely Connie Wasserman, LCSW, Karen Kretz, and Christina Noon, Esq. I am truly fortunate to be surrounded by the most caring, dedicated, and empathetic individuals. It would be impossible to achieve my professional dreams and goals without the support of a smart and dynamic team.

And last, but certainly not least, I am eternally grateful for the love and support of my husband, adult children, and parents. Each of you understand and appreciate why I have worked so hard over the last three decades to make a difference in the lives of aging individuals.

In the spirit of the holidays, I wish you a season filled with peace, love, health, and happiness.
